AMA: Tell us a little about yourself and what Maysteel Industries does?
With over 11 years in marketing including continuing education, health care and manufacturing, Lindsay Ojeda has a knack for understanding what customers and prospects want and need. She helps brands grow their audience by telling the best possible story, and then she brings that story to life through B2B marketing and digital transformation.
Maysteel is a custom fabricator who specializes in engineering and manufacturing custom metal enclosures, kiosks, cabinets and server racks for a defined set of diverse markets including renewable energy, data center, utility and industrial and self-service. Their global footprint allows them to serve their customers as a local supplier, globally.
AMA: Why should marketers add Chatbots to their digital strategy?
First and foremost, they are becoming table stakes to doing business in a digital world. According to the mobile markterer (https://www.mobilemarketer.com/news/study-chatbots-gain-popularity-with-consumers-especially-millennials/447490/) 40% of millennials claim to engage with bots on a DAILY basis. Chatbots use cases can include customer service, lead routing and qualification and streamlining purchases to name a few.
AMA: Do you have any advice for businesses that are planning to implement a Chatbot? Are there any measures they can take to ensure a smooth transition for their employees and customers?
Just like any new MarTech you introduce to your company, ensure that your tech matches your company’s needs, not the other way around. In addition, a successful chatbot will be a form of change management for your organization. You will want to employ a change management model that includes a team/ person championing your bot, bot transparency, short-term wins and promotion of those wins.
AMA: What is the big takeaway people can expect if they attend the event?
That chatbots and AI are not just built for Fortune 100 companies and they can be tailored to nonconventional tech industries such as manufacturing.
