The benefits of KPI “buckets” – a framework for determining KPI type based on objective, not just based on one specific metric. I built this framework to help provide a narrative around the numbers.
Can you give us a preview of how to devise an effective KPI framework for achieving one’s goals?
We start with a “pre-mortem,” or what happens if this KPI goes the exact wrong way? How do we prepare ourselves if these initiatives don’t work? We then walk back from that worst-case scenario and build an ideal outcome while being mindful of the caveats from the pre-mortem exercise.
What is the big takeaway people can expect if they attend the event?
They’ll understand the psychology involved with each style of KPI and what the desired feeling is expected when we achieve our growth goals.
