About this Event

AMA Madison’s Craft Marketing Series continues on August 25th when Chris Hofmann presents, “Give Me Some Credit! The Wonderful, Maddening World of Marketing Attribution.” He’s the Vice President of Digital Services at SeQuel Response, Inc.The virtual presentation begins at 4 p.m. Thanks to Winbound, our sponsor.

Attend this online presentation to bone up on the nuts and bolts of marketing attribution, its problems, and the various available attribution models. You’ll learn about attribution tools at your disposal, and ways you can evolve your company’s or agency’s approach to more accurately assign credit to marketing channels for your campaigns.

Avinash Kaushik, Digital Marketing Evangelist at Google and author of the influential analytics blog, Occam’s Razor, once quipped, “The only use for last-click attribution now is to get you fired. Avoid it.” Yet marketers continue to use it and keep their jobs. Why? Because marketing attribution is one of the most challenging and misunderstood disciplines of our profession.

In many ways, marketing attribution remains the “holy grail” of marketing. If you “seek the grail,” you won’t want to miss this event!
