When it comes to streamlining your processes and making your job easier, marketers have no shortage of tools and technologies to choose from. But that’s the tough part.
Which free tools actually offer value and which paid services are worthy of your limited budget?
That’s what Vince Rose, Director of Digital Marketing and CRM Solutions at Earthling Interactive, will share during this session of the AMA Madison Signature Speaker Series. He’ll walk through where to start and where you can go with your SEO, digital marketing & CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, using free and paid tools.
We invite you to join us on January 12 from 12:00pm-1:00pm CST to participate in this virtual event. Click here to register.
We recently chatted with Vince to find out more about his upcoming presentation and some personal fun facts.
Q: What do you expect the audience to take away from your presentation?
A: As with all good planning, you have to look where your current level of digital marketing and CRM usage is at and understand where you could or want to be. This presentation will provide simple benchmarks, tools that you can use to assess your company or client’s current state of digital marketing preparedness, and how to get more sophisticated with digital marketing across different channels.
Q: What is holding companies back from doing what you advocate?
A: Software that is used in a digital campaign has a lot of easy-to-use features. That’s good to get marketers set up for campaigns quickly, but they can do so much more, from customizing content on a website to automating customer communication.
Q: What will companies gain from what you are advocating?
A: Better SEO measurement tools and insight into how to tie their advertising, CRM and website content together.
Q: If you were not engaged in your current career, what would you be doing instead?
A: Any job near the ocean – from marine biologist to selling coconut tchotchkes with googly eyes to tourists on a tropical beach.
Q: What is a hobby you enjoy?
A: Wisconsin River canoe camping
Q: What is your favorite travel destination?
A: The island of Nevis, or my hometown of Milwaukee
Q: What is a fun fact about you?
A: My dad gave me the name Vince because it’s not very common. I’ve met a few Vince’s, but never a Vince Rose. I’ve wondered how many of us there are and what they’re like for a long time, so recently I reached out on LinkedIn to the almost 60 that I could find just to see how we are similar and different. My dad was right that there are not that many. Several of us are digital marketers or developers. Our first holiday meetup was in December.
