Grab your beverage of choice and join us at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26 for another virtual Craft Marketing event! Josh Klemons of Reverbal Communications will present on building engagement through Facebook groups. Register for this free event today!

Today, smart marketers understand that building an engaged and loyal community is far more valuable than the most viral of posts. And that means Facebook groups are the future of effective social media marketing! But how does it all work?

In this session led by Josh, a digital strategist, you’ll learn how to start a Facebook group, get tips and tricks for growing and moderating your group, and explore examples of brands who really know what they’re doing in this space. Hundreds of millions of Facebook users are already actively using Facebook groups. It’s time to join them!

Josh gave us a preview of what attendees will learn at the upcoming Craft Marketing webinar.

Q: Tell us a little about yourself and Reverbal Communications.

We help brands of all shapes and sizes find, hone, and tell their stories online. We’ve worked with local, statewide, and national political campaigns, tiny non-profits, Fortune 500 companies, and everything in between. We work with individuals and organizations looking to better connect with people online, helping them navigate their way through the digital space.

Q: Can you give us a sneak preview of how attendees can maximize the value of Facebook groups?

Facebook groups are great for learning and networking. No matter what you do (professionally or for fun), there’s a Facebook group out there full of others who can help you get better and stay informed. (And if there’s not already a group, you should start one!)

I go to Google to get answers to many questions. When Google fails me (it happens), my next stop is almost always one of the powerful, helpful Facebook groups I’m a member of. I also participate in many networking groups where we can teach and learn from each other, share opportunities, and much more.

Needless to say, I’m all in on Facebook groups!

Q: Can you give us a few examples of brands who are following best practices for Facebook groups so we can learn from them?

Social Media Breakfast Madison (of which I’m the board president) has a Facebook group called Social Media Madison Masterminds. It’s an excellent place for the local community to come together and talk shop. If you aren’t already a member, join today! I’ll cover plenty of other examples during my upcoming session.

Q: Who should attend this presentation and what will they take away from it?

Anyone looking to learn, meet new people, or improve upon… well… anything!
